JULY 19th, 2003:

EXCLUSIVE interview with Joe Affe!

Joe really took time to answer all the questions I asked him about how he got involved with M.O.D., his favorite song, the upcoming tour and lots more!!!! Thanx Joe.

Interview - Joe speaks

It's funny how I got in contact with M.O.D.'s Joe Affe.
He approached me after he had visited this S.O.D. & M.O.D. fansite. Joe already plays guitar in M.O.D. since 2001 and they did a short North American Tour in August of that year. I have a recording of the second show from that tour, Joe found that at the 'special-items-page' and he asked me how he could get a copy of that show. That was our first contact.
I later asked him if he would do an interview for this fansite and he replied: 'Sure!'

So, here it is!

Special items (update)
I didn't have time yet to listen to all of the shows I recently got, but I've added 3 new shows already:
- S.O.D.: Irving Plaza, New York City, NY, December 10th, 1996
- S.O.D.: SO36, Berlin, Germany, June 22nd, 1999
- S.O.D.: CBGB's, New York City, NY, December 14th 2000
The cd's didn't come with artwork, but I found pictures and posters and added those too. Click here for the complete tracklists and other info. It might take a while for the page to load, but be patient, there's a lot of great stuff on it.

JULY 14th, 2003:

Video, upcoming interview & LOTS of shows...

Just a short update...

Wigga - May 1st you could already read here that Billy was going to do a video for the song 'Wigga'. Well, they're shooting the video right now and it'll feature Eminem- and Fred Durst lookalikes. For the first pictures, go to www.billymilano.com

Upcoming interview - Joe Affe sent me an e-mail today. He received my questions, he's very busy right now (doing a lot of things), but he's working on the interview. So, you'll be able to read it here within a few days!!!

8 New shows - I just received a couple of S.O.D.-recordings. I haven't been able to listen to all of them yet, but some of them are very special. I never knew that S.O.D. did a show in 1996. But they did. They played at a benefit show for Dana Wells and it was S.O.D.'s first show since 1992. Below's the poster from that show. Other shows I just got are from Berlin (1999), CBGB's (2000, really great sound and including a live version of Seasoning The Obese) and recordings from: 1985, 1997 and 1999. You won't be able to find them at the special items page yet, I've got to listen to them first. I wonder what I will be doing the next few days...

JULY 7th, 2003:

Russian bootlegs and upcoming interview with Joe Affe!

A couple of days ago I wrote about a Russian bootleg version of an M.O.D.-cd. Vladimir from Bulgaria read this and he told me that he had even more of these bootlegs. He sent me scans and some info, so here it is. Thank you Vladimir!

The scans

Bootleg info
All cd's ('Live at Budokan/ Speak English Or Die', 'U.S.A. for M.O.D./ Loved By Thousands... Hated By Millions', 'Gross Misconduct/ Rhythm Of Fear' and 'Dictated Aggression/ Surfin' M.O.D.') have booklets that contain parts of the original artwork, pictures and written info. There are always 2 albums on just 1 cd, but there's only one bootleg that is actually complete; 'Gross Misconduct/ Rhythm Of Fear'. On the other 3 bootlegs are songs missing. For complete artwork and more info about these Russian bootlegs, go to special items. There you'll find all info about these Russian bootleg cd's. I'm going to try to get them myself too.

Live bootlegs
I'm expecting a lot of S.O.D.-live material soon, I'm waiting for at least 8 new shows. As soon as I get these 'new' shows, you will also find them here.

Upcoming interview with Joe Affe
I asked Joe Affe, guitarist of M.O.D., if he would do an exclusive interview for this website only. Joe said: 'Sure!'. It might take some time before you can read the interview here, I'll have to think of some questions first and right now M.O.D. is rehearsing for the Milwaukee Metalfest.

JULY 1st, 2003:

New reviews, new lyrics and more!

Again I've added some more reviews of 'The Rebel You Love To Hate'. If anyone else finds more reviews, feel free to forward them to me.

When you click at the picture at the left, you will immediatly go to a page where you will find 'Rebel-related-stuff', like: a scanned image of a promotional poster, links to the reviews, mp3's from the new album, lyrics of 'The Rebel You Love To Hate', tourdates and other interesting stuff.

To read these new reviews now, just click here. There are 10 reviews already, hopefully this list will grow.

A little while ago someone told me that there were some compilations with S.O.D. & M.O.D. songs on it, that hadn't been added to the albumspages yet. Thanks for the e-mail! I've added 2 albums: 'From The Megavault' (1985) and 'Deeper Into The Vault' (1991). They both have tracks on them that weren't released at any other record at the time. Click here for more details.
